Martin “Marty” Sepulveda, Scout Executive/CEO

Marty is the Chief Executive Officer for the council. The Scout Executive/Chief Executive Officer reports to the Council Executive Board.  Marty gives leadership to the council’s governance procedures/committees, and all council fundraising activities.

James Rangel, Assistant Scout Executive (Coastal Bend Service Area)

The Assistant Scout Executive is responsible for all district operations, unit service and membership growth in the council and supervises all district executives. James also gives senior leadership to our Scoutreach Program.

Chelise Hyatt, Development Executive

Chelise focuses on securing funding for scouting programs, maintaining relationships with community sponsors, and ensuring the financial health of the council’s initiatives. She also gives leadership to various council activities and newsletter.

Mara Doemland, Program Assistant

Mara supports council communications, administrative operations, and membership outreach efforts. Duties include updating and maintaining the councils website, assisting with the creation and distribution of the monthly council newsletter, and supporting popcorn sale and other administrative tasks.
