Adventure Days at Camp Karankawa are your ticket to summer excitement! Join us for a series of unforgettable one-day adventures where fun meets learning in the great outdoors. Each day brings something new—step back in time during Heritage Day, unleash your creativity at Art Mania Day, or make a splash during our action-packed All-Out Aquatics Day! These special programs are open to all youth 5-18yrs and offer a hands-on, high-energy experience filled with discovery, laughter, and lasting memories. Whether you’re slinging paint, paddling a canoe, or exploring pioneer life, Adventure Days at Camp Karankawa are the perfect way to make this summer extraordinary!
June 28 - Heritage Day!
Travel back in time and learn about how the early Texas settlers lived, how they cooked, and what they did for fun. Sample tasty snacks, make unique crafts, and get something branded! Don’t miss out on this very unique day of fun and excitement at Camp Karankawa!
July 26 - Art Mania!
(for ages 5-10 only)
Unleash your inner artist! Play with paint, make fun crafts, and build something amazing. This Adventure Day runs at the same time as the Scout BSA Mini Summer Camp, so this adventure is only available to Cub-Scouts and their 5-10 year old friends!
Aug 23 - Aquatics Adventures!
Swim, splash, jump, and paddle your way into an unforgettable adventure at Camp Karankawa! This action-packed aquatics day is overflowing with water-filled fun to keep you cool under the Texas sun. With age-specific activities designed for safety and excitement, every youth is guaranteed a wave of fun!
