McIver Furman Legacy Society

The McIver Furman Legacy Society

Dr. McIver Furman became the South Texas Council’s first Eagle Scout in 1920—and his legacy of leadership lives on. The McIver Furman Legacy Society honors his enduring impact by uniting a community of visionary donors committed to securing the future of Scouting in South Texas.

Members of the Society pledge $15,000 or more, payable over three years, to sustain the mission of Scouting: preparing young people to make ethical and moral choices throughout their lives. These gifts provide critical support for our Council’s operations and ensure that the transformative power of Scouting reaches the next generation of youth leaders.

Society Benefits:

  • Recognition at all Council events

  • Regular updates on the impact of your gift

  • Invitation to an exclusive annual gathering

  • Scouting will not ask you to make another financial gift during the term of your pledge.

Scouting works. And now, more than ever, youth need Scouting—and Scouting needs you.

Join us. Make your mark. Empower the youth of today to lead the world of tomorrow.
